Bernardo e Gomes Lda, headquartered at Largo Afonso de Albuquerque, n.º 25, 2710-519 Sintra, operator of the Hotel Nova Sintra, guarantees the safeguarding of the right to the protection of all Personal Data and its privacy, in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), which are provided by the holder to this Hotel Unit and whose processing is done confidentially, with its employees being obliged to a duty of secrecy regarding them.
“Personal data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”); An identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, online identifiers or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.
‘Data processing’ means an operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, comparison or interconnection, limitation, erasure or destruction.
The processing of data is necessary for the exercise of legal obligations, to which the data controller, under the terms of the law, is obliged, namely in terms of the registration of national and foreign customers, these with the daily sending of entries and exits of this hotel unit.

The data that will be subject to computer processing within the scope of this request by the individual are:

•Full name;
• Nationality, place of birth and date of birth;
• Type of Identification document (number, date of issue and expiration);
• Tax Number (NIF) in case of invoicing in the name of a client;
• Address (with its various attributes of toponymic and administrative location);
• Email Address;
• Contact numbers (mobile, landline);
The purpose of the data processing is to enable the respective data subject to process his or her request on the EXERCISE OF THE RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS – GDPR and its legal basis – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Regulation on Data Protection); Data Protection Regulation.

• Any breach of personal data contained in the existing Base at Hotel Nova Sintra will be brought to the attention of the interested party within the legal period;
